Vasona Vibrations Acoustic Open Mike - Sat, Aug 3rdThe Vasona Vibrations Acoustic Open Mike returns to the Vasona Vibrations stage again this year to close out the season: Vasona Vibrations Acoustic Open Mike 3:45pm-7pm, Saturday, August 3, 2019 Vasona Lake County Park Lawn seating; pack a picnic and bring a blanket or low lawn chair. Non-perishable food and cash donations gratefully accepted for Second Harvest Food Bank. This is a live, acoustic music open mike. No spoken word, comedy, recordings, sequencers or karaoke. Open mike will generally follow the same performance guidelines and procedures as for a South Bay Folks open mike which can be found at http://www.SouthBayFolks.org/openmike.html Performers must sign up by 3:45pm. Performers will be selected by lottery for 18 time slots. Performers pick a time slot as their names are drawn from a jar. No advance reservations. Performers must be present at the time of the drawing. Performers are limited to two songs or 10 minutes (including setup time), whichever comes first.
