Picnic Thanks

Many thanks to all of you who turned out for the SBF picnic on Sunday. It was a perfect day, and a lot of fun.

Special thanks to Kat Yates who supplied and organized picnic supplies, to Mike Tatarakis and Mike Simpson who each arrived extra early to secure the picnic tables, to Alex Puski for managing the BBQ pit, to Bob Konigsberg for the nifty pop-up canopy, and to all who stayed till the very end to help pick up and leave the site cleaner than we found it.

Look forward to the SBF 27th Anniversary Picnic in October.

Vasona Vibrations This Week: Blue Summit (bluegrass)

The Vasona Vibrations concert series has reached the mid point in the series with the bluegrass group Blue Summit coming to the stage this Saturday at Vasona Lake County Park. The free, family-friendly concerts feature a wide variety of acoustic genres by local artists. Food and cash donations for Second Harvest Food Bank are gratefully accepted at each concert. Lawn seating only; bring a blanket or portable chair. Find everything you need to know at www.VasonaVibrations.org.
